My Environment and The Delta

My Environment stores the technology names you choose, plus optional version and exposure context, in browser local storage so the Environment Lens and Defender Action Pack can compare CyberDeltaForce articles with that profile in your browser. The personalized match feed can also store a small local baseline of matched article identifiers and evidence fingerprints so later visits can identify new matches or updated intelligence. The Delta stores a last-viewed intelligence snapshot for an article so a later visit can identify material changes.

This browser-local storage is not transmitted to CyberDeltaForce by these features, is not used as an advertising identifier, and is not used for product promotion. You can remove it by clearing My Environment, clearing site data in your browser, or using browser controls that remove local storage.

My Environment currently accepts manual selections and optional manual version/exposure context only. It does not accept environment inventory files, scanner exports, CMDB files or other organization datasets.

Current CyberDeltaForce application behavior

The CyberDeltaForce application is not intended to set non-essential advertising, marketing or social-media tracking cookies. We do not currently run an advertising pixel or behavioral advertising profile in the application.

Reading the publication does not require accepting optional tracking technology. Browser-local Environment Lens functionality is separate from advertising or cross-site tracking.

Strictly necessary technology

Hosting, networking or security infrastructure may use strictly necessary technical storage or similar mechanisms where required to transmit pages, balance traffic, protect the service, prevent abuse or maintain security. These mechanisms are not used by CyberDeltaForce for advertising or reader profiling.

The exact infrastructure can evolve. If a necessary technical cookie or storage mechanism is introduced, this policy should identify its purpose as clearly as practical.

No consent before optional tracking

If CyberDeltaForce later considers optional analytics, advertising or similar tracking technologies, they must not be activated for readers who require consent until an appropriate consent mechanism and updated privacy information are in place.

A reader declining optional tracking must still be able to read the publication. Browsing, scrolling or continuing to use the site will not be treated as consent to optional tracking.

External websites

Links in Sources & References may take readers to external websites. Those websites can use their own cookies or similar technologies under their own policies. CyberDeltaForce does not control cookies set after a reader leaves our site.

Changes to this policy

This policy should be reviewed whenever CyberDeltaForce adds analytics, advertising, account features, embedded third-party services, server-side personalization, file import, connectors or any other technology that stores or accesses additional information on a reader's device or transmits organization data.
