CYBERDELTAFORCE / CDF EDITORIAL

What makes cybersecurity news useful to a defender?

The editorial standard behind CDF: evidence first, context second, action without invented certainty.

The headline should describe the event

A CVE identifier is useful, but it is rarely the story. The reader should understand the event before seeing the identifier.

Every paragraph needs a job

Useful stories progress from what happened to who is exposed, why it matters, what changed and what defenders can do. Repeating the same fact in different wording adds length but not value.

Unknowns are part of the story

If exploitation has not been confirmed, say so. If scope is still developing, say so. Good security journalism does not manufacture certainty to make an article feel complete.
